Committees
Americanism Committee. Seeks to inspire love of country, and good citzenship, through pattriotic observances, flag,. etiquete, civic instructions in
schools, theAmerucanization of immigrants, community service, and youth activities such as Boys Sate, Girls State, Boy/Girl Scouts, Oratorical Contest,
School Awards Medals and American Legion Baseball.
Children & Youth Committee. Ensure children of veterans in need of care and protection receive proper and timely services and iad,
extends connections to verified organziations, and facilities providing services for children and youth, and maintains programs that
meet needs of youth in the local community.
Veternas Affairs & Rehabilitation Committee. Assists veterans in pursng clains, understanding their rights and obtainig their benefits.
Committee members also visit veterans who are sick, diabled or residing in assisted living facilities, and provide comfort to member's families
inillness and bereavement.
National Security Committee. Engages in community emergency prepardness, promotes public safety, and supports local
and national civilian defense projects.
Membership & Post Activities Committee. Recruits, retains and engages members to give the Post the volunteers to creat success
for The Amerian Legion in the local community.
